August Ladies Night was at CeramiCafe in Grossmont Center. Bobbie, Melissa, Janene, Toni, Vennessa, and Kristi all went to make new and beautiful art work. At least we tried. Bobbie, Melissa had some cute pieces pre Fire Glaze, hopefully they were just as pretty once they were glazed. Some of us did not have such impressive pieces, but we still had a blast.

July Event - WICKED

Ladies

We had such a nice time with salad dinner at Toni's and then a brisk walk to the Civic Center. We went to see WICKED. Vennessa it was pretty good. We all enjoyed it and those who slept through it before actually understand what it is about now. I have a whole knew understanding for the Wicked Witch. I will attach pictures once I get the memory card. It was a perfect Girls Night Out.

June Event

Well Ladies we were all so busy we had to skip our June Ladies night. With Weekend weddings and vacations to go on hopefully in July we can catch up and see how everyone is doing.

Taste of Little Italy

Yummy!! On May 28, 2009 Ladies night was walking through the streets of Little Italy sampling foods from all the Local Restaurants. As you can see we had a good time.

Wild Women of Wine Country "Homestyle Cooking Classes"

South Coast Vineyards

Toni, Kristi and Vennessa went up to Temecula to support Michelle's Place, a Breat Cancer Organization. We learned how to cook by three of the main females at the vineyard. Owner - Maggie Carter, General Manager - Frances Packham and Director of Marketing - Crystal Magon. They treated us to reciepes from the home towns. The menu is below along with the wines they were paired with.

Floral Design...

At least we tried.. Luigi did most of the work for us, but we did get some good tips. It was at Toni's Condo only Toni, Vennessa and Kristi were able to attend but what a blast. We all had different vases but as you can see below they turned out really neat. We also learned that you can use things like grasses and Dusty Miller (the silver plant) that we would have never thought to use.

February 2009

Our first offical Ladies Night of 2009. Drinks and Appetizers at Seau's in Mission Valley and then off to the movies. We went to see Confessions of a Shopaholic. We all found areas that reminded us of ourselves. A very nice time to get familiar with each other again and see how everyones Holidays treated them.

January 2009

Well since half the Ladies were wandering aroung South Africa for almost half of the month we couldn't plan anything for the month. We were all still recovering from the Holidays as well. Can't wait for February though.
